Join Our Great Strides Team!

As many of you know, my nephew, Porter J. Chatterton has Cystic Fibrosis. His family learned that he had this disease when he was only 11 months old. Now, at age two, Porter is doing so much better--thanks to treatments for his CF. His parents are amazing to me! They devote so much time and energy every day to Porter's care and treatments. Although they do everything they can for Porter, they cannot treat him alone. His medications, enzymes, treatments, and doctors are expensive; they could use our help.

The following is from the Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides Website:

"Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a devastating genetic disease that affects tens of thousands of children and young adults in the United States. Research and care supported by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is making a huge difference in extending the quality of life for those with CF. However, we continue to lose precious lives to CF every day. That's why your help is needed now more than ever to ensure that a cure is found sooner - rather than later. To learn more about CF and the CF Foundation, visit http://www.cff.org/. "

We have a team here in SLC in Porter's name. We would love to have you join our team by clicking on the link to my Great Strides Page. The Great Strides Walk in our area will be held May 17th at 9:00 a.m. at Wheeler Historic Farm. Our family will be wearing this year's Porter's Supporters t-shirts available through Porter's website. We invite you to purchase one for yourself. If you'd like help Porter out directly rather than participate in the Great Strides Walk, purchase a shirt for yourself, or just learn about Porter and his condition, his website link is http://porterssupporters.org/. We greatly appreciate all the help and generousity!

Thanks! I hope to see you May 17th at the Great Strides Walk!
