Sportacus Wakko
I heard giggling this morning coming from Wakko, and frankly, I was worried. What had he done today? There, standing before me, was a dashing young man...
When Wakko was a pre-schooler, his favorite show was "Lazy Town". He loved Sportacus, and he was truly Wakko's hero. That show made such an impact on how he wants to live! He loves to exercise, and is careful about making smart food choices. Way to go, Sportacus Wakko!

Scrub Dub...
There are times in every mother's life when she feels like there is a chance she might be getting through. One such time just occurred in our home...

Frozen!
This is our first full winter, as a family, in the cold and snow. Our experiences have been, to say the least, varied. I am FROZEN! It seems that no matter how hard I try, I can't get over the fact that 17 degrees is too cold to be outside.
Yakko tends to agree with me.
Dot and Wakko, on the other hand, love to jump off the top of the piles of snow created by the snow plow.
Dad's finally thinking that a snow blower would be a wise investment.

Capitol Adventures
The kids were fascinated by the art, the design, and the sites.
Dot was starstruck when she met the President of the Senate. Our future politician/ambassador was thrilled to get some personal advice from this wonderfully approachable President Steven Valentine, and was so much fun to watch the rest of the evening as she was so impressed.
Highlights definately were the Senate Chamber, the House Chamber, the Governer's Suite, and the Supreme Court Chambers. Who knew that my kids would get into politics and goverment so much? As for Dad, he was a great photographer. Maybe he has a career ahead of him? Some untapped talent for the lens? Only time will tell.
