Although exhausted, tonight I must shake off the desire to continue being lazy and blog. It has been such a great week!

Although it was only for about 24 hours, we were blessed to see my fabulous brother and his adorable family last week. I was so consumed by how happy I was to have them here... we'll just say photos weren't taken. Thank you, again, from the bottom of my heart for making time in your trip to see us!

Saturday evening we got to meet one of my dad's sisters and one of his nieces. It has been an amazing journey getting here; and it couldn't be more fun! How we love our Aunt Cathy and Cousin Porsia! They are fantastic and it feels like we've known each other for ever. We are lucky enough to have them here until Wednesday... and if you ask me, that's too soon to have them have to go home again. We're already hoping and praying someone rich will hook up all the siblings and their children so we can meet.

Rehearsals for this summer's show, "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" began Saturday morning. It's going to be such a fun summer: I feel so blessed to work with so many very talented people. Dot is a cheerleader and Yakko is in the children's ensemble... and we have a bonus this year! My dad is playing the part of Jacob!

Okay, fatigue is winning... maybe I'll get some extra energy tomorrow and will blog some more..............

Fish Lake

Our boys went to Fish Lake over the weekend and had a great time! Yakko caught the biggest fish, a three pound mackinaw, and had a fabulous experience. Wakko kept everyone on their toes with his crazy antics, and Daddy kept everyone's poles fresh with bait. Grandpa and Grandma Bear joined the fun and made the trip even more special for the boys.
After two and a half days of fishing they brought home their limit; a bonus for the whole family. What a great trip!

What Do You Do In The Summertime?

We've tried to make this summer as much fun as possible, especially considering our limitations (money, new baby, etc.). So... that being said, we've actually had a great time! So far we've spent two days at the skating rink (with our cute cousin, P), and afternoon at Liberty Park with the H family (no pictures, sorry!), gone on numerous walks in the neighborhood, enjoyed swimming lessons, fishing trips, and girls' weekend. It's been a fun summer, that's for sure!
Skating was loads of fun for the kids! Baby Peanut and I enjoyed getting lots of smiles... this is her latest trick and is such a riot to see! Happy Summer to you!

CRT Tests

Today the kids finished up the end of year tests required by the state (the CRT tests). We won't find out how they scored until September, but all three felt they did really well. You be the judge: don't they look so happy?

One of the kids' favorite things favorite things about today was making new friends with similar interests. Dot was such a social butterfly; she exchanged email addresses with a whole bunch of kids and was the center of all the girls. It was so cute!Welcome to Summer Vacation!!!!

Swimming Lessons!

I love the summer! One of my favorite things about it is how much my kids love to go swimming. However, last summer's virus scares throughout the Salt Lake Valley kinda made it impossible to go swimming...
But this summer's different!
My sweet friend, Debbie, from "Bye Bye Birdie" teaches private swimming lessons, and my kids are lucky enough to take lessons from her! They started yesterday, and had a blast!
Dot will be moving today to a more advanced level, and so the boys will be in an all boy class beginning today. Yay!
