Mid-West Vacation Part 2

Standing outside the Louisville Slugger Museum... this giant bat is taller than a two story building!

This was an AWESOME museum, enjoyed by the entire family!

Mindy with her souvenir bat.
...and yes, Daddy bought a personalized bat. It is really cool!
We all got stubs from bats made for the Yankees.

Daddy at an old soda fountain at the Schmidt Museum of Coca-Cola... another cool place to visit!

Our love of Coke Products was only enhanced after this neat experience.

The last museum we visited was the General Patton Museum at Fort Knox. This was super educational and very very cool!

We spent a lot of time driving and seeing the beautiful countryside as well. It was a memorable trip for everyone... except maybe this lady...

After 4 and 1/2 hours on planes to get back home, we were super grateful for a little time to recover from jet-lag...

...and Daddy and the kids were thankful to have their Wii back.

What a trip!

Our Adventures In The Mid-West, Days 1-2

As some of you know, we just returned from a fabulous week-long vacation in the Mid-West. It was quite an adventure flying with four children! We had a wonderful time visiting some of the most beautiful country I've ever seen.

In order to keep this post from being waaaaaaaayyyyy too long, here are a collection of our memories from our first two days in Kentucky and Ohio. Enjoy!

Cleveland ROCKS!

One of my favorite places ever is Cleveland, Ohio. The Westside Market, Brown Bag Burger, Mitchell's, Rainbow Babies, and Playhouse Square. My favorite part of Cleveland? That would have to be this:
and this...
and this...

and this...

and this...

to see this...

and Peanut's first taste of lemon, resulting in this...

Thank you, Nate, Melissa, Sydney, Macey, and Porter for one of the best weeks of my life!

(Great pics, Melissa!)
Not pictured, but also highly enjoyed were:

Adventures with the Chatty Family

It's no secret that we adore our family; this includes our extended family too! We had a BLAST spending time with the Chatty family and can hardly wait to see them again.
My brother, Nate, and his darling wife, Melissa, brought their cutie kids to Utah for a visit. We had a great time playing with each other, checking out the sites, and getting to know one another after so long apart. Highlights include: playing the Wii, cousins sleep over, smores, temple square, dress ups, make overs, Legos, chats, and lots of food...it was such fun! Thanks again for the visit!
(Please excuse the lack of captions under pictures: I don't know why but I can't see my pics prior to posting.)
