Snow, and Auditions, and Call Backs... Oh, My!

Oy!

I knew it was supposed to snow today... but what's happening outside today is a bit more than snow. It's looking like a blizzard today.

My kidlettes auditioned for "Seussical" last night for Midvale City. I have to admit that they were great (if I do say so). I was so proud of their courage to be the first children to audition. The production team made it a very positive experience for the children, and I don't envy the job they have ahead of them; casting a show is so tough! I'll keep you posted as to what happens from here! I am certain that no matter what happens in the casting decisions, Dot, Yakko, and Wakko will be able to look back on the whole process and feel good about it. That, to me, is key!

Call backs, part 1, for "Oklahoma!" were last night. Casting a show is always tricky, but I'll tell you what: this show will be a killer! The talent there was UNBELIEVABLE! Best wishes to the director... I do not envy her job at all; it is going to be so tough to cast this show because every person there is truly amazing! I wimped out last night by 10 p.m., so I went home before call backs were through for the night. The plan for tonight is that I am going to be extra cautious all day by making sure I spend the majority of it down so that I can tough it out as long as needed tonight. Really folks, the people at call backs were truly "triple threats"!

Good luck, break-a-leg, and best wishes to you all today!

Snow?

Alright, I'm weird. I am not a huge winter lover, but when we had our "freak" snow storm, I was giddy with excitement. I know, it's crazy.

I love the pictures that Dad took of the snow; I hope that you'll enjoy them as well!
