My darling MIL was here for a week; she took care of all our needs and did so with patience and understanding. She washed laundry, played with Dot, Yakko, and Wakko, fixed meals, cleaned the house, bought us a ton of stuff, and helped with Baby Peanut. I will forever be in debt to her for all she did to make this transition from bed rest to hospital to home go so much more smoothly than I expected. She is a sweet heart and I feel so blessed to have her in my life.
My own mom was able to drop by after a long trip home. She is so sweet to come and see me; she and my dad gave me some very kind gifts as well. I love my mom so much and feel blessed to be her daughter! I am so proud of her for working so hard to fulfill her dreams and getting another degree; way to go, Mom!
I had four friends send me a video with my name inserted as "Mother of the Year". Although I know I am WAY FAR FROM IT, it meant the world to me that so many of these sweet ladies thought enough about me to do this; thank you! I am so touched!
Please know that I had the best intentions to send a cheesy e-card to all my fellow moms... I hope you'll understand my "laziness" this year and forgive me for not personally wishing all my dear friends a happy Mother's Day. I do hope that all you moms and future moms had a splendid Mother's Day and know how blessed I feel to have you!
Happy Belated Mother's Day!
